Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at livingwatersartwork@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We currently focus on original paintings and high-quality fine art prints.

While we do commissioned pieces, we are not currently offering those services at this time.

Giclée (pronounced Gee'caly) is a French term meaning to spray or quirt, which is how an inkjet printer works.  However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and is much larger and more detailed.  Giclée prints can be a little over a meter wide and are print on high quality archival papers.  Giclée is the best way to produce archival reproductions of fine art or photography.  The inks are archival certified and if treated properly, will last a lifetime (100+ years).

We print on Smooth Matte Fine Art Paper.  It is a high-quality, archival grade, acid-free, 100% cotton rag inkjet paper. It has an extremely high color gamut, black density, and D-Max for high contrast in both B&W and color reproduction prints.

Framing can be very expensive thus we decided to stay as close to industry standard sizing as possible.  This way, our customers can easily purchase a standard frame with matting to accommodate the size of print purchased.  Each print available for purchase lists the paper and/or image size available.

Often times, you will not see the artists signature on a print, especially when it comes to Fluid Art. Fluid Art can be hung in any direction, depending on how the client views the piece.  A signature on Fluid Art becomes a distraction and would dictate how the painting/print is to be hung.  On original artwork, the signature is most often on the side of the painting as opposed to the front of the painting and is sometimes signed on the back of the canvas.
