Artist Biography
Get to know the artist...
Lisa M. Patterson was born in Southern California in the mid 1960's, grew up in Salem, Oregon, left the area for several years, and then came home, which is where she is today. Her expression is not with words, stating "If I could paint an artist biography I would", but since that is not the case, let us continue. Lisa was a creative child, as most children are. Her grandmother, also an artist, took her under her wing at an early age. She has very fond memories of painting with her in her studio, the smell of Linseed Oil and the special bond they shared. You will find Lisa most days in her home- based Studio. In her words, "Thank you for hearing my heart through a brushstroke on the canvas".

"I have one son that I am so very proud of, a wonderful daughter in law and two absolutely beautiful granddaughters that call me Gigi.
The little ones are only 13 months apart and I have no doubt they will be best friends. I hope one day they will want to paint with me in my studio as I did with my grandmother."
